Massage Therapy at Moriarty Chiropractic

This soft tissue therapy is an integral part of our treatment plans and can be utilized to treat a variety of complaints including back/neck pain, migraines, carpal tunnel, sciatica, scar tissue, and decreased circulation/range of motion. Massage has been shown to increase a sense of energy and vitality and can help your general sense of wellbeing and mood improve.  Combined with the treatments Dr. Moriarty offers, massage can help anyone heal faster and paves the way to better health.

Massage therapy is typically thought of for relaxation, but massage treatment can be so much more when combined with chiropractic techniques. Massage treatment administered in the chiropractic office seeks the "Ahhhh..." response as well as more targeted soft tissue and muscle work to release tightness and allow the adjustment's realignment of bones and its resulting pain relief to last a bit longer. Massage therapy keeps in step with the Cox Technic protocols.

What is Massage Therapy?

Complementary to chiropractic care at Moriarty Chiropractic with Cox Technic Flexion Distraction and Decompression spinal manipulation, massage therapy is the manual manipulation of the body's soft tissue structures through a variety of techniques ranging from relaxing to rehabilitative. Soft tissues include muscle, skin, tendons, fascia, ligaments and joint capsules. These are often involved when the spine and extremities are in pain.

With massage therapy, function, flexibility and overall circulation of the soft tissues increase.
